2024 Retrospect
Back in 2005, it was for the first time that “Valve World” events came to Asia, or more specifically, to China, and acts like a unique “bridge” for communication between various parties and players in valve industry all around the world ever since. Today, the event has become an outstanding and promising platform for business communication and social networking. In the past two decades, “Valve World Asia” has been navigating towards joint development together with the up and down-stream enterprises. The way was full of challenges, but we’ve managed to keep pressing ahead. Experience gained during two-decade operation in multiple regions around the globe helped us to create and innovate. The principle of “Being earnest, professional and efficient” fuels our growth. Yet the true noble achievement we accomplished was the value we created for each corporative and individual attendees of “Valve World Asia” event!
Expo: rooted in Asia and connects the global elite enterprises and professional visitors
Being a professional exhibition in valve industry and flow control industry, the 2024 Valve World Asia Expo brought together over one hundred premium exhibitors to the exhibition floor, that included FRVALVE, TYCON Alloy, VIZA VALVES, etc. The number of professional visitors on the opening day（July3rd ）exceeded 4000. Besides the domestic visitors, people were from over 35 countries and regions, including Russia, USA, Malaysia, The Philippines, Indonesia, Mongolia, Canada, Brazil, the Netherlands, UK, Danmark, Germany, Spain, Poland, Belarus, Italy, Serbia, Cameroon, Oman, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, etc. They were feasted on the most striking features of the exhibits in the manner of intuitive perceiving and, face to face talking can be done instantly. This also benefited the exhibitors significantly who wished to yield various types of business cooperative intention, and to get precise knowledge about the valve industry map, including the trend of the future.
To achieve the better matching of supply and needs, this event launched “1 VS 1 Business Match Making Service” program for the first time ever. It focuses on specific industrial fields like marine engineering, mining, oil & gas, with the goal of matching these buyers with appropriate exhibitors and facilitating “1 on 1” communication in a focused and efficient manner. Sound feedback was given by both the suppliers and buyers: “ We were able to communicate with specific exhibitors very efficiently. The potential supplier is not our only harvest at the expo, more importantly, we were feed with knowledge about the valve application in specific fields. That’s quite helpful for our future work.”
Conference: a reservoir of diversified needs and solutions from various countries and regions
The Chairman of the steering committee this year was assumed by Mr. Zheng Gang from Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical. Attendees and speakers represented overseas and domestic users, institutes and key valve manufacturers, such as Petronas, Pertamina, Saudi Aramco, Wison Engineering, Chemours, BASF, JGC, Dow Chemical, Air Products and Chemicals, Dorf Ketal Chemicals, Flowserve, COOEC, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, etc. Besides the professional array, the most eye-catching factor was the fabulous program presented during the two-day event:

Pre-Show event: Industrial Materials Training Course
As a distinguishing pre-show event of the 2024 Valve World Asia event, an Industrial Materials Training Course on July 2nd (the day before the VWAsia 2024 starts) was arranged. The impact of materials on valve performance and application speaks for itself. It’s safe to say that material is in a dominating position because material is a critical factor that restrains the product performance and functionality. So it’s not surprising that much attention and participation was drawn by the 2024 event pre-show event — Industrial Materials Training Course 2024. It covered four sections: the trend, special materials, application and plant tours. The lecturers were all sophisticated experts in the field of material and valve R&D, selection and application. It was recognized as an industrial material course exclusively for valve and flow control people.
Network Reception
On the evening of the first event day, as one of the traditional and classic activity of Valve World events, a Network Reception dinner party has been held at the landmark building in the city center of Shanghai. To mark the 20 years anniversary of the Valve World Asia events, awards have been issued to companies and experts who have been supporting Valve World Asia events over years.
The 2024 Valve World Asia Expo & Conference has achieved a proud accomplishment.
